A touch of style, a pop of colour and the perfect finishing touch
Unique Hand-Sewn Silk Pocket Squares Made in England
St Edmund Hall Silk Collection
Otway & Orford are delighted to collaborate with St Edmund Hall, the oldest educational establishment at Oxford University. The result is two unique designs available both as high-quality silk pocket squares as well as ladies' silk scarves. The full-size pocket squares are designed to look good in any top pocket and the medium-size scarves to work beautifully when worn around the neck, hair or cascading from a bag.
The sale of the pocket squares and scarves will help much needed fundraising to support students, restoration & repair of historic buildings and general development of facilities. The pocket squares and scarves are being sold on a pre-order and orders paid for during the pre-order period will be delivered at the end of June/start of July; Pre-orders do benefit from a special price vs the normal RRP. Otway & Orford will donate 50% of profits from total sales to the College's HALLmarks campaign.
The pocket squares and scarves are Made in England and are finished by hand-rolling and hand-sewing the edges to create the distinctive 'shoestring' hem. One design, 'Floreat Aula', features an original watercolour of the St Edmund Hall crest by Allan Constance Gardner. The other design, 'The Hall', features a striking painting of the college front quad from the 1950s by renowned artist John Piper.
