Design, Inspiration & Quality: ‘Motif’ is a unique and high-quality full-size silk pocket square with hand-sewn hem, Made in England. It is a fresh take on a classic design from 1920 held in the archives at our pocket square manufacturing partner. The rich archives have been assembled over the years from their own designs as well as from those of notable silk printers from Macclesfield's illustrious past.  

The name ‘Motif’ was inspired by the use of a distinctive repeat pattern on this pocket square. The design is composed of a Caribbean blue background with burgundy and honey gold leaves.

In Macclesfield, the home of English silk printing, the artwork is reproduced with great care. This enables an excellent balance of design colour & clarity between the printed and reverse sides of the AAA quality Mulberry silk twill, ensuring the pocket square looks perfect whichever fold is used. The pocket square is finished with a skilfully hand-rolled & hand-sewn 'shoestring' hem in orange. The overall quality of this pocket square from the UK's leading maker is what you would normally expect to find only on London's Savile Row or Jermyn Street.

Full-size silk pocket squares are 42cm x 42cm (16.5” x 16.5”) and medium-size ones are 33cm x 33cm (13" x 13"). Dimensions may vary slightly following the printing and manufacturing process as silk is a natural material.

£70 is the RRP of a full-size pocket square and £49 the RRP of a medium-size one, including free gift box, to all countries. Items sold to outside the UK are provided on a DDP basis (Delivery Duty Paid) for the EU and on a DDU basis (Delivery Duties Unpaid) for all other countries. For EU DDP sales, the total price paid covers the applied EU VAT rate (covered as part of the shipping charges) and there will be no further charges before or on delivery. For DDU sales, the total price paid excludes any local customs duties, taxes, clearance charges and surcharges. 100% AAA quality Mulberry silk woven into 16oz silk twill gives the characteristic sheen and cool touch as well as ensuring the pocket square sits nicely in the top pocket.

Silk should always be dry cleaned. Avoid pressing the hand-finished hem to preserve its distinctive 'shoestring' shape.
